Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the ClaiStore website, the ClaiStore WordPress plugin, and the ClaiStore Connector Broker.

Last updated: 10 September 2026

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing or using the ClaiStore plugin, by using the Connector Broker, or by using this website, you agree to these terms. If you are acting for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use these services.

2. What ClaiStore is

ClaiStore consists of:

  • the website at claistore.com;
  • the ClaiStore plugin, a self-hosted WordPress / WooCommerce plugin that exposes an authenticated Model Context Protocol (MCP) endpoint so AI assistants you authorise can read and act on your site;
  • the Connector Broker at broker.claistore.com, an optional agency-hosted relay that connects your site to Meta and Google.

3. Plugin licence

The ClaiStore plugin is free software licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or (at your option) any later version. You may run, study, modify and redistribute it under those terms. The plugin is provided with no warranty to the extent permitted by law. Third-party libraries and assets bundled with or loaded by the plugin or website remain under their own licences.

4. Your responsibilities

  • You must own or have authority to administer the WordPress site where you install the plugin, and any Meta, Google or AI-provider account you connect.
  • You are responsible for configuring permissions, publish and delete rights, spend caps, dry-run and staging locks appropriately for your risk tolerance, and for reviewing what the connected AI does.
  • You must keep the MCP token, application password and any broker secret confidential, and rotate them if exposed.
  • You are responsible for your own compliance with applicable law and with the terms of every third-party service you connect, including consumer, privacy, marketing and advertising rules.
  • You are responsible for maintaining backups of your site.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use ClaiStore for anything unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or harmful;
  • send spam or content that violates a provider's policies through connected channels;
  • attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, spend caps or the Connector Broker's per-site scoping;
  • probe, overload, or disrupt the Broker or the website, or use the Broker to proxy traffic unrelated to your own connected site;
  • resell or sublicense access to the hosted Connector Broker.

We may throttle or suspend access that we reasonably believe breaches this section.

6. The Connector Broker

The hosted Connector Broker is provided on a best-effort, "as available" basis. It may change, impose fair-use limits, or be discontinued, and it may be unavailable during maintenance or provider outages. It is optional: you may operate your own broker instance and point the plugin at it. Data handling for the Broker is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Third-party services

Meta, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, Cloudflare and any other service you connect are governed by their own terms and policies. ClaiStore is not responsible for their availability, decisions, pricing, policy changes, or acts and omissions, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. You are responsible for holding the necessary rights and consents for any data you cause to flow through those services.

8. AI actions

ClaiStore lets AI assistants take real actions on your site and connected channels — publishing content, editing products, changing campaigns, replying to customers. AI systems can make mistakes, misread instructions, or act on incorrect information. You are responsible for the results. Use dry-run mode, staging locks, restricted permissions and spend caps as safeguards; they reduce risk but do not guarantee any outcome. Review AI-generated changes before relying on them.

9. No warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website, the plugin and the Connector Broker are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClaiStore and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, ad spend, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of ClaiStore — whether in contract, tort or otherwise, and even if advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid ClaiStore for the relevant service in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100.

11. Fees

The plugin is free. If a paid Connector Broker tier or other paid service is offered, its pricing, billing cycle, and cancellation terms will be presented to you before you subscribe and will form part of these terms for that service.

12. Termination

You may stop using ClaiStore at any time by disconnecting your channels and removing the plugin. We may suspend or terminate access to the hosted Connector Broker or the website if you breach these terms or to protect the service or other users. Sections 8–11, 13 and 14 survive termination.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes take effect on the new "last updated" date; continuing to use ClaiStore after that constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [your jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive venue, unless mandatory local law where you live provides otherwise.
